This month’s guest speaker for the HCA monthly luncheon was the Director of the Office of Business Opportunity for the City of Houston, Mrs. Carlecia Wright. Mrs. Wright acknowledged that she had spoken before our organization six or seven months earlier, primarily as an introduction of herself as the new department director. She stated that she was here now to update our association on where we are with the City’s disparity study.
